Understanding ADHD
In recent years, the UK has seen a surge in adults seeking and receiving late-stage ADHD diagnoses. Despite this sharp rise, landmark data published in The Lancet Regional Health - Europe shows that ADHD is still heavily under diagnosed across England, especially in adults and older age groups.
Scientists from King’s College London have found that ADHD itself is not becoming more common, instead, more people who have always had the condition are finally coming forward due to cultural shifts, increased awareness and re-defining of symptoms.
Receiving a late-stage diagnosis can provide a powerful sense of relief. It can help adults reframe years of feeling misunderstood and allows them to access targeted support like talking therapies, workplace adjustment and ADHD Coaching.
ADHD Coaching
Living with ADHD often means navigating unique challenges with focus, time management and organisation. Traditional rigid systems can often leave you feeling overwhelmed or frustrated.
ADHD Coaching is a supportive, goal-focused partnership that shifts the focus away from perceived failures, instead helping you to discover how your unique brain actually works. I aim to support my clients to access their personal power by exploring their individual patterns and barriers. With this awareness, my intention is to help my clients to build practical, realistic strategies to help manage daily routines and reduce the risk of burnout. This collaborative process is intended to build self-confidence and create empowerment to handle life’s challenges with more self-acceptance.
ADHD Coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused partnership designed to help individuals overcome executive function barriers by building sustainable, personalised systems, treating neurodivergence as a natural variation, rather than a deficit. Drawing on professional frameworks, this approach emphasises practical strategies, including routine building, task initiation and holistic lifestyle adjustments.

Going to university was an enormous change for me, I was overwhelmed by it all. Sarah let me talk about my worries and we practiced some mindfulness techniques together that I've continued to use on my own. My sessions have helped me so much with my stress and facing my final exams was better than I had previously feared. I PASSED!! Thanks Sarah.
